June is often referred to as the bridal month, because of its namesake Juno. In Roman mythology June was a protectress of women and marriage.Similarly Roses, the birth flower of June, is considered a universal symbol of love and devoted affection (among many other things).
Walking outside in nature during June, I always see pairs of lovers: human and animal alike. It seems the world has thawed and is in full bloom, while the sun showers down warmth in June. An ease of vulnerability, bliss and love also seems to accompany this physical shift in our surroundings. This is what love looks like:
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."
