This porcelain vase is individually thrown, painted, carved, glazed & embellished with gold luster from start to finish as a one of a kind piece. It is fired in a wood fired kiln which creates unrepeatable results every time, caused by the wood ash, flashing of the flame & reduction atmosphere.

Please note that all pieces with Gold Luster contain real gold and are not dishwasher or microwave safe.

The glaze ran too far in this firing and chipped the bottom when it was being detached from the wadding. (see last picture) It has been sanded down and does not affect the functionality of this mug. It has been discounted accordingly.
